master the no-makeup look

Master a natural no-makeup look while listening to your favorite song.

Spring is finally here! What a perfect time to master the no-makeup makeup look.

This go-to look leaves my skin looking fresh, young and bright ready to take on the day. In a few easy steps and under 10 minutes you can be out the door.

Step 1: Prep your clean skin with moisturizer and face oil before applying any makeup. This will help the makeup last longer and even glide on better.

Step 2: Apply a color correcting concealer under the eyes. Since I have a red undertone to my skin, I'm very fair and have some grey under my eyes, I use the orange looking Dior Fix It. It's a prime and prep product that's super versatile. Depending on your skin tone and skin issues you may need to use the green, yellow or orange correcting concealers to see what works best.

Step 3: For the Urban Decay Primer Potion I take the wand and sweep it under my eye from the outer edge of my nose to the high point of my cheek creating a long "u" shape under my eye. Blend in with fingers or brush of choice.

Step 4: Take your brush and punch it into you cover-up or squirt your cover up if it's a liquid foundation on to your hand and dab the brush in it. Apply the concealer in a circular motion all over your face and blend.

Step 5: Set the foundation or cover-up with a light powder wiping it with a brush all over your face and two dabs on your eyes to even everything out.

Step 6: Take a bronzer/blush/multi-purpose brush and wipe it across the bronzer product, do a quick tap of excess product and bronze the high points of your face. Start from the base of your check and swipe up, swipe forehead and swipe down nose.

Step 7: Use your blush brush and glide the blush from the base of your cheek to your ear. Smile so you can follow your natural facial structure as you do this.

Step 8: Use a clean finger and apply a liberal amount of Lid Tint to the top of your eyelids. I recommend using a dewy pigment, light brown or blush color.

Step 9: Line the bottom of your eyelid with eyeliner starting from the outer corner of the eye and line it halfway to the inner corner. This will help make your eyes pop a bit more. With blue eyes, a brown tone will help brighten your eye color, brown eyes can use maroon or black, green eyes can use brown.

Step 10: With a brow pencil, line in your eyebrows to fill in any spaces and thicken them up a bit. Take a brow brush when complete and sweep the brush across your brows to blend the pencil. Don't want it to look obvious that you filled in some gaps.

Step 11: Keep your eyes wide and apply your mascara in an upward motion on your top lashes. Use the wand to grab and hold the lashes dragging them left and right to add more product. Take the wand and apply on a downward motion to your bottom lashes. You can repeat 2-3 times to help build on the product or simply apply once.

Kiss the mirror with your favorite lippy. You're ready to crush the day!
